Position of Adjectives  विशेषणों का स्थान

वाक्य में उपयोग करने के लिये adjective स्थान मायने रखता है. आम तौर पर इसका उपयोग उस noun के साथ ही होता है. noun के तुरंत पहले या तुरंत बाद.

The location of the adjective in a sentence is important. Generally it is used just before or just after the noun.

प्रायः adjectives का स्थान noun के तुरंत पहले होता है, नीचे के उदाहरण में यह देखा जा सकता है...

pretty girl, strong boy, kind man, ferocious lion

The examples above show the use of adjectives just before the noun. This the most common way of positioning an adjective.

Below are two examples where the position of the adjective changes the meaning of the sentence.

1.	A great leader's son	एक महान नेता का पुत्र
2.	A leader's great son	एक नेता का महान पुत्र

जब बहुत से adjective किसी एक noun से सम्बन्धित होते हैं उन्हें प्रकट करने के लिये उन्हें कई बार noun के बाद भी प्रयुक्त किया जाता है.
When multiple adjectives are used to describe a noun, then they are sometimes also placed after the noun as shown below...

1.	The prince, tall and handsome, walked down the road.
2.	The tall and handsome prince walked down the road.

The adjective is placed after the noun when there are other words or phrase that are used along with that adjective to describe the noun.
किसी adjective के अर्थ को स्पष्ट करने के लिए जब कोई word या phrase प्रयुक्त होता है तब उस adjective को sentence में noun के बाद रखा जाता है.
